Invest in the future.

"We are a small school, but our faith-based, ethics- infused interdisciplinary education prepares our students to make a BIG impact in the world. The same faith on which we were founded in 1881 grounds us today, and will keep us growing into the future."

– Rev. Dr. John A. Nunes, President

Support the

Rev. Dr. Thomas Green Endowed Chair

Concordia College New York has announced the creation of an endowed chair in honor of the Rev. Dr. Thomas Nelson Green, a revered former dean whose wisdom, scholarship and personality made a lifetime impact on countless alumni.

The Rev. Dr. Thomas Nelson Green Endowed Chair for the School of Humanities at Concordia College New York will support the study of humanities within the disparate academic disciplines, so that all students can engage in creative and critical thinking about the human experience across the boundaries of difference – and reimagine a vibrant world of possibilities. The School of Humanities houses the College’s Honors Program, which is dedicated to the highest standards of academic excellence for academically talented students. The School of Humanities and the Honors Program emphasize a holistic education in a diverse community of faith, where students are empowered to discover their vocations and become the people they are meant to be.

Support the Rev. Dr. Thomas Green Endowed Chair for the School of Humanities by texting DEAN to 41444 or donate online. A generous donor has committed to a dollar for dollar match of all funds raised, up to $500,000.

Your contribution helps support vital programs, scholarships, and activities to prepare Concordia students for lives of service to their communities and Church. This includes top-level instruction, well-maintained facilities, educational technology, robust student experience and service learning programs, and a rich spiritual environment. Tuition alone cannot fund these needs; we rely on the vital support of our donors to make a Concordia education impactful, affordable, and accessible for our students.

Through your generous support, Concordia College’s success and reputation are enhanced and strengthened. Our gratitude and that of our students runs deep.

With planned giving, you can provide long-lasting support for Concordia College New York while enjoying financial benefits for yourself.
