Suzuki Cello, Guitar & Violin

Suzuki Instruction in cello, guitar and violin for children from age 3–6. Students receive weekly private lessons and attend weekly 45-minute group class to develop their musical skills. Parents, caregivers and guardians actively participate by attending lessons, classes and supervising home practice. No prior musical experience is necessary. Tuition includes 16 weekly private lessons and 12 weekly classes.

Ages 3 and up

Music Yogis

Music Yogis is a music, movement and yoga experience for young children and their parent/caregiver relationship. The family-style classes help develop music, memory, and rhythm skills for children. An integral component to the class is yoga, music and books while drawing on drama, dance, and imaginary play so children will be physically and musically engaged in creative and fun experiences to begin a lifelong musical journey.

Ages birth to 3
15 classes or year-long
Fridays 9:30 – 10:15, 10:15 – 11:00, or 1:00 – 1:45

The youngest children are in the 9:30 class with older children in the 10:15am and 1pm classes. Siblings will be placed together in appropriate class.


Guitar Launch

Students learn the basics of the guitar in an engaging and social environment. Students are introduced to listening skills and fundamental musical elements of rhythm, melody and notation.

Thursdays 1:30–2:15, 2:15–3:00


Meet the Instrument

This 4-week survey class is designed to expose children to musical instruments and voice for private study. Each session, Conservatory faculty will introduce a new instrumental family—strings, woodwind, voice, percussion, and piano. Students will learn to produce a sound on the instrument, observe instrument demonstration, and enjoy performances.

Musical Adventures Family Series

The 2018–19 family series is designed to educate and entertain in 45-minute shows on 3 Saturdays at 11am at Schoenfeld Campus Center, Concordia College New York.
