Musical Yoga Toddlers, 2’s & 3’s

Breathing, connecting, moving, focusing and relaxing through music is the class structure. Creating a lifelong bond with music and movement.

The class is to enhance the parent/caregiver-child relationship through music & yoga.  The family-style classes help develop music, memory, and rhythm skills for children at a young age. An integral component to the class is yoga, music and books while drawing on drama, dance, and imaginary play so children internalize the music and literary stories. Breathing, connecting, moving, focusing and relaxing is the class structure.


Guitar Launch

Ages 3 – 5
Tuesdays
4:00 – 4:45 pm  

Students learn the basics of the guitar in an engaging and social environment. Students are introduced to listening skills and fundamental musical elements of rhythm, melody and notation.

 

Group Violin

Ages 4 – 6
Tuesdays

Students learn the basics of the violin in an engaging and social environment. Students are introduced to listening skills and fundamental musical elements of rhythm, melody and notation.


Meet the Instrument

Ages 4 – 6
Tuesdays, March 15, 22, 29 & April 5
4:00 – 4:45 pm

This 4-week survey class is designed to expose children ages 4–6 to musical instruments and voice for private study. Each session, members of the faculty, will introduce a new instrumental family—strings, woodwind, brass, percussion, piano—in a fun interactive class. Students will learn to produce a sound on the instrument, observe instrument demonstration, and listen to performances.
