Course Sequence

Core courses are taken first. In-service teachers pursuing CTLE are free to enroll in any number and combination of core courses. If students wish to continue, they may pick one of the following concentrations: Curriculum & Instruction, The Christian Educator, Leadership. The capstone is completed to ultimately earn the Master of Science of International Education.

Core Courses (21 cr.):

EDU 505: Education as a Global Phenomenon (3 credits)

EDU 523: Research Methods in Education (3 credits)

EDU 511: Child & Adolescent Development: Cultural and Societal Expectations (3 credits)

EDU 513: Special Education in the Global Context (3 credits)

EDU 522: Intercultural Communication (3 credits)

EDU 560: Educator’s Role in Social Justice (3 credits)
