This Veterans Day, let’s take time to honor the service and sacrifice of our veterans. Concordia College has created several ways for you to show your appreciation.

Morning Reflections
10:30am – 10:50am
Schultz Chapel
Michael P. Fix, Adjunct Professor at Concordia’s School of Business, U.S. Army Veteran, and Adjutant of the American Legion Leroy Gregory Post 979 in Eastchester will reflect on integrity.
Veterans Day Flagpole Ceremony
12 pm – 12:20 pm
Front of Feth Hall (rain location Sommer Center)
Join the Concordia College community in recognizing and honoring our veterans. All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend.
Exhibit: Paying Homage to Our Veterans
8am – 12pm
Scheele Memorial Library, Main Floor
Highlighting distinguished alumni who fought in WW II and Concordia College’s Fourth President, Rev. Arthur Doege, who was a war chaplain in WW II.
Operation Gratitude Collection Drive
9am – 5pm
Talbot House, Admissions Office
Donate travel size toiletries (dental supplies, deodorant and combs) for inpatient veterans and/or canned food for local veterans who are struggling. Items will be distributed by Vet2Vet of Westchester County.
