Concordia College New York will celebrate the installation of Reverend Victor J. Belton as Vice President for Leadership and Campus Ministry on Sunday, September 24 at 2:30pm at Village Lutheran Church in Bronxville.
Reverend Gregory Walton, President of the Florida-Georgia District Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) will deliver the sermon. Officiants will also include Reverend Derek Lecakes, Bishop (President) of the Atlantic District LCMS and Host Pastor Rev. Dr. Robert Hartwell, Senior Pastor of Village Lutheran Church in Bronxville, New York.
Reverend Belton is the first full-time Campus Pastor at Concordia College in the last seven years. He will also serve as the Executive Director for the Center for Contextual Leadership.
He is a graduate of Concordia College New York, receiving both a bachelor’s degree and an honorary doctorate from the College. He received his Master of Divinity from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis.

Prior to returning to his alma mater, Belton faithfully served as Pastor of Peace Lutheran Church in Decatur, Georgia for 27 years.
Reverend Belton served 12 years on the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod National Board of Directors and is a sought-after public speaker. He helped begin a ministry in South Sudan along with Sudanese Pastor Bafel Paul Deng. He is a certified coach through the Center for United States Missions and has worked with other pastors and leaders to plan and implement prayer initiatives.
