* Please make every effort to be on time; latecomers will not be permitted to participate in the ceremony.


POST COMMENCEMENT RECEPTION

Immediately following Commencement ceremony. Open complimentary admission, tickets are not required.

FINANCIAL CLEARANCE DEADLINE

Financial clearance for Commencement must be completed with the Manager of Student Accounts by Friday, November 30, 2018.  Letters were mailed to your home address a few weeks ago and you can check and pay your balance through your Banner Self-Serve account.  Financial obligations to the college must be met by Monday, December 3.  This is a firm deadline; please speak or meet with Denise Hopkins, Manager of Student Accounts with questions or to make a payment (914) 337-9300 ext. 2115.

President and Mrs. John Nunes will host a Cap and Gown Pick-up Reception during the Graduation Fair in Schoenfeld Campus Center from 3:00 – 7:00pm on Tuesday, December 11.  

We look forward to personally congratulating you on this milestone.  You will receive your cap and gown (yours to keep), three (3) Commencement tickets for your **guests in Sommers and Commencement ceremony instructions.  Snacks and light beverages will be served. Champagne toast at 6pm.

We recommend pressing your regalia (gown) for a crisp look on Commencement Day!

If you cannot attend this Fair and Reception, please pick up these items in the Provost’s Office (Feth Hall main level) beginning Wednesday, December 12 through Friday, December 14 between 9:00am and 3:00pm.  NOTE: Graduates attending off-campus locations will work with your program Director to receive your cap and gown and tickets.

NOTE: Each graduating student will receive three (3) tickets for their guests to attend the Commencement ceremony in Sommer Center.  Tickets must be shown upon entry.  Seating in Sommer Center for Commencement ceremony will begin 30 minutes prior to the ceremony.

**Guests without tickets will be seated in Schoenfeld Campus Center and will watch the Commencement ceremony via livestream.   The post Commencement reception will be held here in Schoenfeld immediately following the ceremony in Sommer.

Students participating in Commencement will receive a diploma case. Beginning Friday, February 28, 2019, diplomas will be mailed to the address on the graduation application however if you would like to pick up your diploma instead of having it mailed, please contact Theresa Depierro in the Provost’s Office at (914) 337-9300 extension 2491.

 

Parking is available at Sommer Center, in front of Romoser and Rippe Halls, on Rose Avenue east of White Plains Road/Route 22, and at the Meyer Athletic Center.  Guests may be dropped off on the circular driveway in front of the college, but there will be no parking on the circular driveway.  Handicapped Parking is available in front of Talbot House, Office of Admission on Concordia Place.  Please note that if you do not have a handicapped permit, your vehicle will receive a $65 ticket. Please follow directions of parking attendants on Commencement Day.

Throughout Commencement, a professional photographer will take candid photos of graduates and their families. These photos will be made available for downloading from this webpage in the days following commencement.
