Concerts at the OSilas: Notes with Power and Purpose

March 29

3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

This afternoon’s program, set around an exhibition of early twentieth century cartoons, explores how composers, just like editorial cartoonists, have used wit to subvert and comment on norms, often in subtle and irreverent ways.

Music by Telemann, Haydn, Debussy, Shostakovich. Featuring Clare Hoffman, flute; Monica Bauchwitz, violin; and Annette Espada, cello.

Purchase tickets at the Concordia Conservatory website.
