Impact U Presents Self-Direction: An Essential Information Session

July 17

6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Yeager Room, 2nd floor Scheele Memorial Library

Concordia's Impact U presents an event for special needs families and the professionals who serve them.

Join Michele Altenrath, LCSW and Self-direction Liaison & Community Funding Team Leader for the NY State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities, as she explains the ins and outs of Self-direction. This event is ideal as a first session or as a follow up to a previous session.

Self-direction recognizes that each person is unique, and empowers people to design supports based on their individual strengths and needs. By facilitating choice in the mix of supports, services and schedules that work best, Self-direction can help people live the lives they want.

Seating is limited. Please reserve your space by emailing Nicholas Pohl, Impact U Director of Instructional Support and Student Experience, by July 11.
