What do you like to do for fun?
As weird as it may sound, I edit videos for fun. I also enjoy playing video games and hanging out with friends.
Who is your favorite professor and why?
My favorite professor is Professor Bayens. He's a great guy and there's a certain "je ne sais quoi" in the way he teaches that just keeps on captivated.
Why did you decide to attend Concordia?
I wanted to attend a smaller college where I knew I wouldn't be just another number.
What has been your most rewarding experience so far?
My most rewarding experience so far has been all the friends and cool people I've met on and off campus.
What has surprised you most about Concordia?
The intimacy and closeness one develops with his/her professors. Being a small college, professors are always keen to sit and help with any questions or problems outside of class.
What makes you happiest about your experience at Concordia?
Being able to walk away with the few videos I've put together. Also, the knowledge I've gained, not just in one area, but several areas. The Liberal Arts program allows for that.
What do you hope to do beyond Concordia?
I hope to enter the media field and do anything media-related. I would love to be a video editor for one of the many video production houses in New York City.
What do you like best about Concordia's location?
I like that Manhattan is just a short train ride away.
What's your favorite campus hangout?
I'd say the Brickyard. There's a lounge area with a big-screen TV and a ping-pong table, not to mention the easy access to good food.
What do you like most about your program of study?
Where to begin...? New Media is great. I get to go out with a camera, shoot, edit, and then show off my works to all of my friends.
What has been your most memorable college experience?
Every year Concordia hosts a "Concordia Oscars" night where all the best works produced in the New Media department are screened. I had the pleasure of winning an Oscar this year, so that was pretty memorable.
What do you like best about going into New York City?
The atmosphere... New York city is just bubbling with effervescence and there's always something to do once you're there.
