Why did you decide to attend Concordia College?
It is close to the city and I fit in well with the Golf Team.
What has been your most rewarding experience so far?
I have enjoyed meeting new people and being away from home has allowed me to gain a greater appreciation for my family.
What has surprised you most about Concordia?
How challenging the classes are and how the material I have learned in class can be used outside the classroom.
What makes you happiest about your experience at Concordia?
Everybody is friendly and professors are more than happy to help with academic and personal issues.
What do you hope to do beyond Concordia?
My dream is to be an accountant.
What is the best thing about attending a small college?
Attending a small college requires you to learn and participate in class. You're not sitting in a room with 300 other students who all learn information just from reading a textbook.
What do you like best about Concordia's location?
I was attracted to Concordia because it is located in the small, quiet town of Bronxville, yet only 30 minutes from exciting New York City.
What is your favorite campus activity?
I like playing football on the quad with friends on a nice day.
In what extracurricular activities are you involved?
I'm on the Golf Team and participate in Student Government.
What do you like most about your program of study?
The professors are preparing us for how to handle real-life situations and how to express our own opinions professionally.
How have you changed during your time at Concordia?
Being 1,000 miles from home has forced me to become a more responsible person. Concordia has also challenged me academically and has allowed me to branch out and socialize with people I wouldn't have in the past.
What has been your most memorable experience?
I'll always remember the Golf team's trip down to Florida. It started with a flight and lasted six more days. We had so much fun going out to eat and spending time on the beach.
What do you like best about going into New York City?
There's nothing better than a stroll through Central Park during the day and dinner in Manhattan at night. I also like to shop in Chinatown.
