February 15, 2017

Concordia College announced today the introduction of an Early Acceptance Program with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM). In addition to being the nation’s largest medical college, LECOM is the only Academic Health Center in the osteopathic profession.

This new partnership offers students the opportunity to complete their Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Concordia College with early acceptance to LECOM’s Osteopathic Medicine, Dental, or Pharmacy doctoral degree programs.
“Consistent with the mission of Concordia College New York, LECOM offers outstanding programs that prepare students for lives of service,” said Dr. Mandana Nakhai, Concordia College Vice Provost of Academic Affairs. “LECOM’s commitment to enhance the ‘quality of life through improved health for all humanity’ and innovative individualized learning approach make this partnership a natural fit for us.”
Interested future first-year applicants with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 and test scores of 1170 SAT/26 ACT are encouraged to apply through the Concordia College Office of Admission. The application process includes interviews with both colleges.
"We are excited to provide students with the opportunity to make a smooth transition on to their next educational step,” said Professor Victoria Graham, Concordia’s Biology Program Chair.
