Concordia New York

The Student Government Association of Concordia College-New York promotes the general welfare, active Student involvement and activities, provides communication between the administration and student body, secures appropriate campus legislation and justice, and encourages an atmosphere of Christian Fellowship. Once a year selected members of the Executive Board are able to visit a sister Concordia. There they meet other Student Government groups and share ideas and activities, as well as enforce positive leadership on our campus.

Band Bash
Every year, dozens of student-led and local bands are invited to take part in Band Bash at Concordia. It's a full day of music, games, food and festivities lasting well into the night. It's an event to remember and is open to the public at no cost.

A Night On Broadway
One of the neat things about attending Concordia is its proximity to New York City. The Dean of Students Office and SGA take full advantage of this by sponsoring trips into the City to see Broadway plays and musicals. Most recently, students were given the chance to purchase discounted tickets to see The Altar Boyz, winner of Best Off-Broadway Musical of 2005.
