Fun On Campus

The Student Services Office sponsors many on-campus events in an effort to promote participation and fellowship among our students. Listed below are some of the events that are regularly held on campus.

Band Bash

Every year, dozens of student-led and local bands are invited to take part in Band Bash at Concordia. It's a full day of music, games, food and festivities lasting well into the night. It's an event to remember and is open to the public at no cost.

Chicken Wing Eating Contest

The Chicken Wing Eating Contest at Concordia is a fun event where students can test their stomachs against their favorite professors in a contest to see who can eat the most wings in one sitting. Pictured below are some of the contestants:

Movie Night

Friday nights are movie nights at Concordia. Sponsored by the Student Services Office, Concordia regularly shows newly released movies in Schoenfeld Gymnasium. The movies are owned by the College and are screened free of cost to all students, faculty, and staff.

A Night on Broadway

One of the neat things about attending Concordia is its proximity to New York City. The Student Services Office takes full advantage of this by sponsoring trips into the City to see Broadway plays and musicals. Most recently, students were given the chance to see the prize-winning Off-Broadway musical The Altar Boyz.
