African-Latin Heritage Club
This club promotes unity among diverse cultures through integrated awareness of one another. Past activities include talent shows, international dinners, an opera concert, gospel choir, fashion shows, and various festivals.
Alpha Sigma Chi
This is an all-female organization designed to promote unity and sisterhood. The sorority organizes activities on campus that raise awareness of today's issues and promotes a communal spirit for the entire campus. This is an organization where long-lasting friendships are formed, cherished, and kept.
Anime Club
This club meets regularly to experience and enjoy this unique art form and plans activities for the benefit of the College community.
Arcade
The Arcade, Concordia's yearbook, captures the spirit of the College through its pictures and captions. A student staff produces this annual composite of campus life.
Beta Sigma Psi
Beta Sigma Psi is a Lutheran fraternal organization whose purpose is to foster, encourage, and inspire its members through its activities and daily living. Open to all male students, the aim is to develop spiritual awareness, intellectual/scholastic abilities, and social excellence.
Formed and sponsored by students majoring in business, this club is open to all students. Activities focus on professional development and expanding awareness of activities in the financial and business worlds.
Campus Christian Ministries
This is a group of students who creates opportunities to raise spirituality among themselves and the campus community. The group sponsors Bible studies, student-led worship services, prayer chains, and spiritual retreats. People with a love for the Lord and a desire to serve Him in a multitude of ways are welcomed.
Cheerleading
The Concordia College Cheerleaders perform at half-time for all home Clippers and Lady Clippers basketball games, during Homecoming Weekend in the fall, and at various other events throughout the year.
Concordia Lutheran Women's Missionary League (CLWML)
A chapter of the International Lutheran Women's Missionary League, a non-profit organization, started to support mission projects and enhance the spiritual life of its members. New members and fresh ideas are always welcome.
The Concordia Players
The Concordia Players is a drama troupe that offers interested students an opportunity to participate in all aspects of theater through productions and other theatrical activities.
The Dance Club welcomes students who are interested in contemporary dance routines. Members rehearse regularly and perform at Concordia Clipper athletic events.
Delta Omega Pi
Delta Omega Pi is a fraternal organization which seeks to nurture the academic, social, physical, and emotional lives of its members. Fraternity programs and activities are planned for the benefit and progress of the community, the College campus, and the brothers of Delta Omega Pi. This organization is open to all male students of Concordia College.
Education Club
The Education Club, open to all education majors, engages in a variety of activities that benefit Concordia and the community while offering additional experiences for its future teachers.
Environmental Club
The Environmental Club invites all members of the College community to participate in educational and hands-on activities designed to appreciate our environment and put into practice sound conservation and preservation behaviors.
Gospel Choir
The Gospel Choir’s mission is to minister through powerful, passionate, and exciting song. The Club provides inspiration to neighboring churches and serves as a source of inspiration to members of the Concordia College-NY community by creating an environment conducive to spiritual growth and bringing all together under God.
International Club
This diverse group of students is interested in learning about other cultures through a variety of activities, including social gatherings on- and off-campus, "conversation partners", and the international potluck dinner.
Intramurals
This program affords students, staff, and faculty the opportunity to participate in various sporting and leisure activities by providing safe, organized, and friendly competition. Events include floor hockey, basketball, volleyball, beach volleyball, softball, baseball, and flag football. Look for information and sign-up sheets on the bulletin boards on the lower level of Schoenfeld Hall.
Pre-Law Club
The Pre-Law Club is open to all students interested in the political and legal process or planning to continue their studies in law or graduate school. The two main goals of the Club are to help students further their chosen career paths and have fun participating in and exploring the legal process.
Pre-Med Club
The Pre-Med Club is an organization dedicated to helping its members prepare for application to and admission into medical schools and other health-related fields. The Club is a source of information and experiences that will prepare members for future careers in medicine.
Poetry Society
The society welcomes serious literary artists, novices, and curious others to participate in events where published and original works are presented. The Society also produces the literary journal, The Looking Glass.
Rotoract
Concordia College's Rotoract Club is chartered by Rotary International and dedicated to "provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world."
Social Work Club
The Social Work Club engages in issue-focused, campus-wide activities (seminars, discussion groups, field/agency visits) in areas such as the developmentally disabled, child abuse, battering, alcoholism, and drug dependency. Occasional events are planned with neighboring college social work programs. Club activities enhance preparations for social work practice and personal growth.
The Step Team is another venue of expression for the students of Concordia College. The Step Team provides entertainment, activities, and fun for the students, faculty, and community.
Student Activities Committee
The Student Activities Committee plans and organizes many campus social events. Students interested in developing and executing successful activities are welcome to join.
Theta is one of two sororities on Concordia's campus and is a place where women can express themselves. Many sisters come from far away and do not have the chace to go home every weekend, so Theta is their at-school family. Theta is a chance for sisters to grow.
