Information Technology Services

From high-speed Internet access to personal file space and email, IT Services is Concordia’s technology resource. IT Services offers a wide variety of services to the campus community.

IT Services operates several computing sites across campus. Sites include the Writing Center, which supports “Writing Across the Curriculum,” and Scheele Memorial Library’s Information Commons. Microsoft Office, email, and printing services are available through any of the computers available to students in the Information Commons. Additionally, the Krenz Academic Center houses a 20 workstation, PC-based instructional lab, and the New Media classroom and production studio are designed for instruction in digital media and content design.

CCNYNET is Concordia’s high-speed Ethernet computing network that is connected to the Internet. Service is available in classrooms, computing-sites, and residence halls. In addition, wireless access points provide flexible and mobile access to Concordia’s computing resources and the Internet.

Basic information and other ITS related information can be found in the Student Computing Guide or in the frequently asked questions section . Additionally, personal help on the use of these services is provided by experienced computer lab assistants during regular Library hours. Technical advice may also be obtained from the IT Services office located in the Krenz Academic Center, during posted helpdesk hours.
