Welcome to the Best Years of Your Life!
Congratulations on behalf of the Office of Admission and the entire college. As a future Concordia student, there are still a few missing items before you arrive on campus. We’ve created a brochure entitled Welcome…to the Best Years of Your Life to walk you through these important next steps. If you have not yet received this brochure, please contact us. In this brochure, you will find “to do” lists, timelines, helpful hints, and more. But don’t forget, we are still here to help you and are only a phone call away.
Now that you are admitted, there are three important dates to add to your personal calendar:
- April 5 - Accepted Student Breakfast - This is a special time set aside to celebrate your acceptance to Concordia. To RSVP please email tina.osso@concordia-ny.edu
- May 1 - Deposit Deadline - Secure your space for fall '08 by submitting your non-refundable tuition deposit by this date. Please complete and return the Tuition Deposit Form & Housing Declaration (an enclosure with your admit letter) when submitting your tuition deposit. Special arrangements can be made for deposits after May 1. We ask, however, that you contact us as soon as possible considering space goes quickly.
- June 7 or July 26 - Summer Orientation - All first-time freshman students are required to attend one of these two summer orientation days. This day is for students and parents, with information-packed sessions for both. If you have not yet selected your date, watch for a mailing from the Dean of Students Office or contact the office directly at 914.337.9300. Transfer students are not required to attend the summer orientation days.
Concordia is an exciting place to be and you have made a smart choice. You will join a tradition of students who are focused on developing academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally.
Your decision to attend Concordia will impact your life for years to come.
Congratulations!
