Being here in New York certainly is a change from my original homeland of Trinidad and Tobago, but Concordia has become my second home. I came to the United States in 1987 and attended Concordia College to gain my B.S. in Business Education. As a student at Concordia, I truly became a part of the community here—reminding me of the atmosphere of my hometown. Everyone here knew my name, and I was able to participate in one of my favorite sports, basketball, something I still enjoy coaching and playing today.

As an admission counselor I get the chance to remain at Concordia while telling other people about the great opportunities available here. Also, I love relating with young people, and working here at Concordia allows me to help prospective students and even make a difference in their lives.
