Nursing Application Process

The college offers a second degree program for students wishing to enter the nursing field. The Bachelor of Science in Nursing is an accelerated, 15 month, day program that begins in the fall of each year. Applications are due by July 15th, feel free to email with questions to admission@concordia-ny.edu or call 800-YES-COLLege. We are here to support you every step of the way.

Admission Requirements:

1. Completed application – print application
2. Application fee of $50
3. Resume
4. Official transcripts from all schools attended
5. Must have completed all the following (pre-requisite) courses within the past 5 years with a minimum of a “B” in each course:
   1. Chemistry (4 credits);
   2. Microbiology (4 credits);
   3. Anatomy and Physiology (8 credits)
6. Must have completed a college bachelors’ degree program with a 3.2 CUM GPA or higher
7. Letter of Recommedation
   
   Once the above items have been submitted, students will then conclude the process with
   
   
8. Interview with the Dean of Nursing
9. Passing score on a writing sample.

The admission decision will be made after all steps are completed and requirements are met.
