The Florida-Georgia District of the LCMS established the Concordia House of Studies at its June 2000, convention to support the number of church work students from Florida and Georgia by providing an affordable, local vehicle for their education. Concordia House of Studies provides a church work training option for students who decide that it is not feasible for them to travel to a Concordia University System institution.

Program Mission

The mission of the Concordia House of Studies is to provide an attractive, reasonable opportunity for students to receive spiritual formation and ecclesiastical certification in a church work role while they are completing a degree at an accredited State university.
