The Writing Center, located on the first floor of Sieker Hall, offers free tutoring to all Concordia College students, whether they are Adult Education, English as a Second Language, or traditional students. The writing specialist and peer tutors who form The Writing Center staff help students excel at writing papers for all disciplines.
The Writing Center staff works with students in various aspects of writing, ranging from organization, development, and research methods to mechanical and proof-reading skills.
Students who exhibit particular challenges in writing will receive individualized instruction and extensive practice in the fundamentals of writing. Other students can work directly on a particular class assignment. Students will have access to word-processing equipment and a variety of texts.
