Health Services | Immunization | Health Insurance
Full- time students have access to a health program offered through Student Health Services, located in Schoenfeld Campus Center. A registered nurse practitioner is in attendance weekdays and practices in collaboration with a physician who is on call for both routine health problems and emergencies.
There is a charge for nurse practitioner consultations and when a doctor's consultation is necessary. Any student may make arrangements for treatment by a physician of his or her choice; however, the college assumes no responsibility for the cost of such professional services.
Students are not fully registered until the college receives a completed medical form and required immunization records. The physical exam is a one-time requirement of all full-time students except intercollegiate student-athletes. Athletes must have an annual physical prior to their participation in intercollegiate practice or competition.
All students are required to have their own comprehensive health and hospitalization insurance. Those who do not provide evidence of having insurance prior to the beginning of classes will be required to purchase the College-arranged policy at an annual cost of approximately $800. Student athletes, because Concordia is a NCAA member, are protected with a blanket Sports Catastrophic Accident Insurance policy.
If you are going to be a new student at Concordia, you will need to submit the following forms with your tuition deposit.
