Health Services

All students have access to a health program offered through the Campus Health Center where a registered nurse practitioner is in attendance weekdays and practices in collaboration with a physician who is on call for both routine health problems and emergencies. There is a charge for nurse practitioner consultations and when a doctor's consultation is necessary.

Commuting students should see their family physician for services other than emergencies or minor treatment. Any student may make arrangements for treatment by a physician of his or her choice; however, the college assumes no responsibility for the cost of such professional services.

Students are not fully registered until the college receives a completed medical form and required immunization records. The medical information form requires a student’s medical history and a physical exam. The form must be signed by the student and by a physician. The physical exam is a one-time requirement of all full-time students except intercollegiate student-athletes. Athletes must have an annual physical prior to their participation in intercollegiate practice or competition.
