Concordia Connection Admission Criteria and Procedures
To be considered for Concordia Connection, the student must be:
- A High School Graduate
- Eligible for Admission to Concordia
- Diagnosed with a Learning Disability
- Emotionally Stable
- Acceptable Scores/Results on Individual Education Plan (IEP)
Students must meet all the requirements above as well as submit the following:
- Certified diagnosis of learning disability, which minimally includes a WAIS-R (Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale) profile with subtest scores taken within the past year, and the most recent IEP
- Recommendation from a learning specialist who has worked closely with the applicant
- Guidance counselor’s recommendation
- Interview to be done in person, or if that is not possible, by telephone
