HISTORICAL NOTE

Different papers and material of the years1967 until 1995 were at one point organized under the title Advancement Office. This label was adopted as the official name of the collection even though the organization may not have this same heading any longer.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

The subjects in these files are labeled arbitrarily and were left in the order they were originally organized by a previous archivist. The folders are in alphabetical order by subject. All paper clips and duplicates were removed. If certain events and or papers are not to be found in the subject folders they may be located under a different record group established at a later point i.e. Office of College Relations or Concordia College History. For example,the Baccalaureate Services as well as the Opening Services for the academic year are filed in chronological order in the record group Office of College Relations. Since the organizational plan of Concordia College has changed several times since 1995, it is advisable to look for certain material under the most recent organizational arrangement.
